High Point police on Wednesday were still seeking three people responsible for a home invasion last weekend.

Just before 1 a.m. Saturday, an occupant of a house in the 500 block of Bridges Drive answered a knock on the door and was assaulted by three black males, police said.
A fourth suspect was still in a Chevrolet Tahoe in the driveway. At least one of the assailants was armed with a handgun. The suspects restrained the victim by securing his hands behind his back and were attempting to rob him when police response interrupted the crime.
Jeffrey Quick was arrested after attempting to flee in the Tahoe. The other suspects were able to escape.
Quick, 45, of Lumberton, was charged with first-degree burglary, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping and possession of burglary tools, and was served with an outstanding criminal summons for failure to return rental property. He remained jailed Wednesday under a $100,000 bond. Police said the other suspects also are from the Lumberton/Rowland/Robeson County area.
Police ask anyone with information about the case to call (336) 883-3224 or High Point Crimestoppers at (336) 889-4000.
