Thomasville man arrested for child abuse
Thomasville police officers have arrested a man on felony child abuse charges.
On Dec. 7, detectives were called notified by Brenner’s Children’s Hospital about a four-week old baby boy who was admitted to hospital for a broken arm. However, X-rays revealed multiple fractures in different stages of healing, according to police reports.
An investigation was conducted and officers consulted with the Davidson County District Attorney’s office. Noah Adam Turbeville, 24, of West Holly Hill Road, was charged with felony child abuse.
The child has been placed with relatives and is doing fine, according to police reports.
