Autopsies show that drowning victims were drinking

Toxicology reports show that alcohol may have led to the deaths of three people, including an 12-year-old girl, who decided to go swimming in a retention pond on Penny Road in the early morning hours of Feb. 10, 2012.
High Point Police released a press release stating that the lab results from the autopsy can confirm that both adults, Kenny and Heather Jordan, has been drinking prior to drowning.
According to the Medical Examiner's Office the blood alcohol content was the only substance check since the examiner's are certain of the cause of death.
