NASCAR ALL-Stars look to shine
Tonight's opening action almost assuredly will not be an indicator of what might happen over the rest of the two consecutive weekends for NASCAR's top division at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

Qualifying for Saturday night's All-Star race is set for 6:30 p.m. The outcome likely will mask who actually has the fastest car because the format includes teams completing a four-tire change pit stop that could negate speed during each driver's three laps on the track.
