Helen Virginia Arden
TRION, Ga. — Mrs. Helen Virginia Arden, age 85, of Trion, Georgia, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013, at her residence. A native of Shinbone Valley, Menlo, Georgia, she was born to the late Ben and Mae Lawson Wood Baker on December 5, 1927. Mrs. Arden graduated from Trion High School in 1945, was a member of Trion First Baptist Church for more than 50 years and was retired Claims Clerk in the General Office for Riegel Textile Corporation from 1970 to 1992. She was presented the Georgia Textile Citizen of the Year award in 1987 by then Governor Joe Frank Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband the late Paul Wesley Arden on December 22, 2002.
Surviving are daughter-Paula Arden of Trion; nieces and nephews-Steve Baker of Summerville, Carol Haynes of Athens, TN, Bobbye Jones of High Point, N.C., and Ben Baker of Rising Fawn; cousin-Lib Young of Shinbone Valley, Menlo; several great- nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, July 7, at 2:00 p.m. at her residence on Simmons Street in Trion, with additional parking at Trion First United Methodist Church; inurnment in West Hill Cemetery.

Sa Chin “Jenie” Kim Hamilton
WINSTON-SALEM — Sa Chin “Jenie” Kim Hamilton, 62, passed away June 29, 2013.
A gathering of friends and family will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville.
A native of Korea, she was the daughter of the late Hyong Su Kim and Ok Sun Choe and was the owner-operator of Jenie’s Coin Laundry in High Point.
Survivors include her daughter Anna and husband Eric Lautzenheiser of Louisburg, North Carolina; grandchildren, Joshua Blake and Elijah Chase Lautzenheiser and her ex-husband and friend, Kendall Lewis Hamilton.

DENTON — Mrs. Charlotte Sullivan Henderson, 82, of Denton died Wednesday, July 3, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A Service of Song will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at First Baptist Church in Denton with graveside service following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is serving the Henderson family.

Jeanette Kennedy Robinson
KANNAPOLIS — Mrs. Jeanette Kennedy Robinson, 79, a resident of Brantley Road and formerly of Thomasville, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at her home. She was born on December 17, 1933, in Davidson County, NC, to Lawrence Lee Kennedy and Lelia Darr Kennedy. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and the church choir. She attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Savannah, GA, and Crossroads United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Joel Robinson on September 5, 2003, whom she married on October 11, 1970; brothers, Roland, Bruce, and Kirby Kennedy; and her sisters, Margaret Ragan, Doris Dunning, Reny Beck, Betty Craven, Barbara Martin, Peggy Ann Kennedy and Callie Ruth Kennedy.
Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Russell of the home; two sons, Jesse “Jay” Robinson, Jr. and wife Robin of Kannapolis and Clyde Myers and wife Teresa of Savannah, GA; sister-in-law, Pauline Kennedy of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren, Justin Russell, Ryan Russell, Jennifer Gallimore, Kristin Walsh, and Chloe Robinson; and six great-grandchildren, Kailey Russell, Joseph Russell, Lucas Wilson, Jace Gallimore, Brady Walsh, and Elli Walsh; favorite nieces and nephew, Diane Anthony and Susie Swink and Donnie Batten.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Mike Fongemy officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Cleveland James “C.J.” Wilson
HIGH POINT — Mr. Cleveland James “C.J.” Wilson, 92, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Blumenthal Rehab. following a brief illness.
C.J. was born in Greensboro, March 13, 1921, a son of the late Jess Lee Wilson and Annie Jordan Wilson. He served our country in the Army during W.W.II. C.J. owned and operated Wilson Heat & Air for more than 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Douglas and a sister, Aretta Miller.  C.J. was an avid fisherman and was a member of Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty Ann Kerans and husband Mickey and Sondra Freeman and husband Ron, both of Summerfield; two sisters, Ruth Bunting Gardner of Liberty and Becky Kanoy of High Point; a brother, Jess Wilson of Asheboro; four grandchildren, John Kerans and wife April, Heather Roberson and husband Duffy, Chris Freeman and wife Korey, and Rhonda Thompson and husband Tom; and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of C.J.’s life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel by the Rev. Ron Freeman. Burial will follow in Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Cemetery.
